Style Over

I decided to watch Sin City today.  I'd never seen it, and ... I don't think I'm going to be able to finish it.

It looks nice.  Yeah.  Sure.

But all those other things that make a movie?

And I think it's very safe to say, "This movie has issues with women." Which I knew before watching it, but I didn't really get the extent to which this movie just hates women.

I know, I know.  I get it, Hollywood.  Men do things.  Women have things done to them.  Baaad things.  I know.  So instead of making this movie you could have flashed those nine words on the screen for an hour and a half.  Same effect, less Jessica Alba.

Cheaper, though.

Oh look, more hookers.

  1. How are you on this fine Sunday afternoon Senpai? Lots of writing to do today but I still have time for a quick hello =D.

I want to improve my writing. Blogging looks fun but I could never be trusted with this stuff XD. I've never seen anyone write as much as you. Is this practice? Is this some kind of obsession? I don't know if you've realized it, but by sheer amount of time dedicated to writing, you must be beyond the level of a genius by now 0.0.

...Just Kyo lie to me and say you are! Major writers block xP. May I ask, where do you find your inspiration? I gotta know, what's your secret? Seriously, how the fuck do you write so much?

  2. Inspiration comes from within! <--cheesiest thing I will ever say in my life
But seriously, it's all about deep thought, reflection, and a spark. (Often when I'm about to fall asleep.)

I spend a lot of my free time writing. Of course, I spend a lot of time trapped at home these days, but even when I had better transportation I would just take off somewhere and go write. It helps me to have new scenery and fewer distractions (refrigerator, computer, etc.). I have the attention span of a squirrel. At home I need to have music playing, but it has to be something like classical or else I get distracted. When I'm out in public, the people around me act like white noise and I'm able to focus better.

Honestly, thinking about how distracted I get ... it's a wonder I finish any writing at all!
